I couldn’t resist incorporating a lighting test with the arrival of some Tui in our Kowhai tree, the off camera flash really helps bring out the detail and colour in their feathers, such beautiful birds! Our little photo-shoot also got dive-bombed by a Kaka – you can just about see it in the last shot – if only he had landed where I had set up my lighting!!!
