The Landing in Masterton has to be one of my favourite Wairarapa wedding venues. A beautiful setting to get married, full of interesting spaces and dramatic locations for photography. Amanda and Tim had their wedding there just last weekend. After leaving the drizzle and fog of Wellington behind me at the Rimutakas, it was a scorchingly hot day in Masterton and a great day to get married. We took all photographs within a short walk of the ceremony and reception area (another reason why I love this wedding venue – no driving;-) and were all pretty happy to spend most of the Bridal shoot in the shade soaking up the amazing rural spaces around The Landing.
For their wedding, Amanda and Tim jetted in from Hong Kong where Tim is a Rugby referee and Amanda a physio (a definite theme during the speeches, and the page boy sure loved his Rugby whistle during his wedding ceremony entrance). It was a fantastic wedding day, and despite still being dehydrated from the experience it was a total pleasure to be involved!
Here are just a few preview shots from the big day – thanks for having me their to photograph your wedding guys, and a safe trip home;-)
